Colorado Hardrock Blasting, Inc. has operated a successful family-owned and operated rock blasting business since 1998.  We have over 25 years of experience working on challenging drill and blast rock excavation projects throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Alaska. We currently work in northern Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska.

Each rock blasting project is unique; our goal is to provide each client with a customized and results-oriented process.  We will evaluate your specific blasting needs and use our experience to develop an efficient plan to produce optimal results.

We specialize in close tolerance blasting.  In today’s climate of engineered foundations, it is important to minimize excessive ground disruption.  In these critical situations, we have excellent results in keeping blasted grades very close to specifications, using controlled blasting techniques and precision non-electric milli-second delay detonators.

Give us a call to discuss your project BEFORE the digging starts!  In many cases, it is critical to leave the existing dirt in place because it covers the blast and reduces the risk of flyrock.  This is especially important for close-in projects with nearby structures.  If the dirt is removed down to the rock, this can trigger the need to bring in blasting mats and perform smaller blasts, which is more costly and time consuming.  While drilling, we can determine where the rock is located and what areas can be dug and what areas need blasting.
